About/Contact
I was born in, what was then, West Berlin, in the same hospital used to treat Rudolph Hess. I spent my childhood in Germany, Scotland, England and Cyprus. I now live in Glasgow and work as a web developer.
I have been writing seriously since I was about 11 or 12, and throughout my teens I spent my time writing a series of bad horror novels. The manuscript of my first, completed when I was 14, continues to mock me to this day. My fiction has appeared or is upcoming in online journals like Kill Author, Spilling Ink Review, Emprise Review and Metazen, as well as in the print journal Fractured West.
I was a member of the Glasgow-based post-rock/garage/punk band Viola Dub from 2005-2006, during which time we released a 7″ single with industrial band Karhide on Field Records.
I now make experimental noise/drone/ambient compositions under the name Novak. I have released a few digital EPs in the last few years, available to download for free, because I’m the generous type.
Send me an email and say hello.
